How i will find the noise variance of AWGN channel? I want to pass my data from AWGN channel to receiver and study the effect of noise on it?

If you use MATLAB there is an inbuilt function called 'awgn' u can pass your data and specify the SNR to get the noisy signal.

cheers

Thanks for your reply.
I had used the command AWGN in MAtlab alredy. That will only give me noisy data depending on my value of snr. I actually want to find the noise variane of AWGN channel.

you can find noise variance very easy by using matlab function
var(noise)
