No Reverse recovery in LLC operating above resonance?

6th page of this (marked page 5)
..states that LLC operated above resonance has reverse recovery of the output diodes.
Do you agree this is wrong.
(Well.....reverse recovery of output diodes is not at all an issue to be concerned about in LLC above resonance.)
Would you agree?
 

It is bollocks as written - BUT - if your above res freq is high AND you have appreciable L-leak between the output windings ( CT ) - THEN - what the writer describes can and does occur - i.e. hard switched diodes.

Also for simple o/p wdg and 4 diode bridge if wiring L-leak is high ( this includes wiring L from Tx to diodes, and then to o/p caps and cap ESL )
 
Thankyou very much......now i see that in fact, the situation you kindly describe is almost certainly what they (or the consultant who explained it to the writer) really meant.
