Hi,

I generated a GDS file through Cadence SOC Encounter. I tried to import it on Virtuoso environment and, altough it return 0 errors and 0 warnings, I can't see the Net Name (empty Net Name) when check the Properties (Menu Edit->Basic->Properties->Connectivity) of a metal that belongs to a net .

I tried to generate the the GDS by checking the options "Attach net name to attribute number" and "Attach instance name to attribute number", but I don't know which 'attribute number' to use (tried with empty, 0 and 1 and it didn't work).

Any help is very welcome.

Kind Regards.

I have the same problems
but maybe your problems can be solve by using [Retain Reference Library (No Merge) ] option when you import the gds file in Virtuoso
