hello.... I'm newbie on microcontrollers...

actually I'm not from electrical engineering... I'm from Information Technology who always code for software.. not for microcontroller...

nevertheless I'm here to learn some basic on microcontroller (I can't pascal or anything else beside C family and java)

what I'm want to ask is from where do I need to start the microcontroller ?

(really need from very basic)

I understand a little about digital design which I use morris manno's book....

thx if u answered my question.....

8051 microcontroller and Embedded system By Mazidi is a very good book to start.

thx.... I just browsing from many source... many of them recommend the same with u......

I think, I'll start with that...

I just confused because there're so many types of microcontrollers...

Study about 8051 first so that you get the understanding on how processors and hows instructions are fetched and executed..etc etc...
