Newbee introduction - I expect help will be needed!!

Hello all, just a quick introduction. Im Dave from Hampshire, ive always had a keen interest in electronics but never pushed it passed the basics learnt in my 1st year college doing engineering. No doubt will be posting various questions over the next few weeks and months as I plan on a fairly ambitious (for an amateur) circuit to control lights and functions in my kitcar.

As a newbee seeing lots of terms in the tech section im not familiar with, where should I be posting querys on 12v automotive circuits based around basic IC functions, relays, bulbs & leds etc?
