61IC.COM has 2 kind of JTAG models..
(I don't know chinese, so ??? means chinese)
- XDS510 Ver3.1 ???
- USB2.0 ??? DSP ???
and another thing exist on the www.chinadsp.cn (Model : XDS510-USB2.0)
I have not this one, so I don't comment about this...
The first, XDS510 Ver3.1 has attatched well on the Windows XP...
(Maybe this seems the same of Wintech Digital's TDS510 JTAG)
but it has not worked in the CCS 3.1 Platinum...
only shows ERROR messages..
finally, I decide to open JTAG box...
Sooner or later I redraw the schematic about JTAG...
I'm drawing the schematic now...
just soon, I can show the schematic of China XDS510 3.1...
And TDS510 JTAG picture attached...
It looks 4 layer but not complicated...
The main components are very similar to the XDS510 3.1 made in china...
I think that China XDS510 3.1 does not work, it seems a driver problems...
The offered driver of JTAG is just Cypress's CY7C68013A driver....
And 24C00 EEPROM has the product and manufacturer's information....
and CCS's driver offered by TI USCIF3 driver,
which maybe convert to USB JTAG....
Most of USB JTAG system configuration has revealed,
but the critical problems are remained...
Funny... All signal lines on TDS510 seem to be hidden in internal layers. It's some kind of protection against reverse engineering?
There is another one USB-JTAG based on Cypress 68013 and ACT8990: SAU510-USB (https://www.sauris.de/Equipment.htm) made by my compatriot from Russia. Unfortunately the price is pretty high. It is interesting to know about its drivers compatibility with chinese hardware (mad idea).
And what kind of critical problems are remained you tell about? As I can see the main trouble is to turn out the Xilinx content, if the EEPROM contain only VID/PID info.
Cypress CY7C68013 controller and EEPROM are almost known..
cy7c68013 is just download the host PC's driver...
and EEPROM contains BootCode(1byte) + VID + PID
According to 'USB Complete' and datasheet... EZ-USB-FX2 BootCode is 'C0h'
then cy7c68013 downloads the firmware from the HOST PC.

I am going to replace the XDS510_CN's EEPROM contents to TDS510's...
(XDS510_CN is short name, XDS510 3.1 China JTAG is too long)
If the XDS510_CN is recognized TDS510 and works well after the process,
then XDS510_CN's schematic is proper...
The 2nd test is replacement of XC9536...
I will remove the XDS510_CN's CPLD, and another thing will be attached...
It's contents is XDS510PP_CPLD from this site...
I hope that the 2 kinds of test will be good...
Then, the ages of USB JTAG DIY comes... ^^~
Interesting idea... XDS510PP_CPLD is likely to work with some changes. If not then it will be necessary to put logic analyzer between CPLD and Cypress (CPLD and 8990).
