new to learn embedded c

hello all, i m new here .. i have interest in embedded systems , but dnt know where to start , i have a bit knowledge of 8051 . and the assambly language programing.. but as the whole world use C as a programing language for embedded systems . i want to start using it ... but dnt know where to start .... pls provide me the startup material

HI,
If you have knowledge in normal C programming. You can download Keil compiler and try to workout some examples on that. It has a good facility to write code in C as well as Assembly. It has simulation simulation capabilities also
