Hi,
we want to use mentor ic flow and associated tools. (2004.2)
wich hard and soft platforms, do you advise?
cpu? ram? harddisk? graphic card?

which redhat version will be good? (we tried redhat 7.x and 8.0 with sata and pci-e graphic card.,there are lots of problems. we are beginner in linux so we need free of problems OS.)
because of price, can we use CentOS3.3 instead of RHE3 with our tools.
Can Fedora core 3 or 4 provide necessary platform?

i admire your experience.

thanks...

I think redhat 8.0 is good, it's free.

How about SUN workstation? Our lab have a SUN workstation, 4G RAM, and we feel good.

thanks.
i am trying rh8 now.

because of price and being new with system configuration, we enjoy pc.
