Netlist syntax for VCVS

Hello,
I just saw this line for a VCVS in a device model:

ED 101 0 VALUE {V(50,100)}

Is this the same as:

ED 101 0 50 100 1

Any prompt reply would be appreciated.

Netlist syntax for VCVS

That took some tracking down - I have Hspice documentation, but not PSpice. The ED 101 0 VALUE={V(50,100)} formula is Pspice syntax and is equivalent to ED 101 0 VOL={V(50,100)} in Hspice. Described as a "Behavioural Voltage Source", the only difference I can see between that and a VCVS is the ability to specify more complex relationships rather than a simple node voltage.

So, I think they are equivalent to ED 101 0 50 100 1

Keith.
