need of idea for final year project.....

I am a final year student I wish to do projects related to process control or plc or dcs.but I was totally blank wat to do.So experts please suggest me with some ideas.i feel thankful to you when you give some valauable ideas....

Dear Indhumathi,
First select topic, in which area you are interested. Search the recent development related to your topic in IEEE Transaction paper or conference paper. Then you will get some idea, discuss with your supervisor, he may help you some extent. Learn the software related to your topic, thoroughly read your topic and find the gaps in the topic.
