Good evening, I am looking for information on the JFET J2SK242 but I find very little about it. This Fet is in the LtSpice database. Does it have an equivalent?

Thank you

You have to make recognize the model to LTSpice.
Hi,

I'm not able to find the mendioned JFET in LTspice XVII, my library has been updated a couple of days ago.

I assume it is a 2SK242 n-channel JFET, see [1]. Which LTspice version are you using? Who is the manufacturer of the mentioned J2SK242? The non-J 2SK242 is also not available in my library.

Hi, I checked the backup library (I use LtSpice 17) but actually that JFet doesn't exist Maybe it's a custom library I added a while ago. It could be the 2SK242. The related .model file is:

.model J2sk242 NJF(Beta=3.326m Rs=5.875 Rd=5.875 Betatce=-.5 Lambda=1.429u Vto=-1.514 Vtotc=-2.5m Cgd=72.68f M=.3333 Pb=1 Fc=.5 Cgs=3.96p Isr=4.016n Nr=2 Is=401.6p N=1 Xti=3 Alpha=10u Vk=100 Kf=1E-18 Af=1)

Unfortunately I can't find the .model for 2sk242 to compare.

Solution
The two models compared are the same and already work on LtSpice. I suppose J2SK242 is 2SK242.
Thank you.
