Someone gave me a bunch of capacitors ... but I have no idea what their values are - let alone any other parameters about them ... they got them from where they used to work and can't help me.

I'd like to find out the exact manufactures part numbers so I can get full specs on them. If that's not possible, would be nice to know the basics (capacitance value / voltage).

I'm guessing they're all electrolytics as the have a black marking on one side.

They have markings such as ...

1000
H FK
6JOY

442
100
63 ZF

330
H FK
6J6D

I assume the first string in each series is the value, so 1000 would be 1000 uF (or is that pF ?).

Can anyone shed some light on this for me ? The image below is representative of how they all appear.

Thanks

Download the program named MiscEl. Its a great program for finding Capacitor, resistor and other components ratings. Just input whats written on the component Body. Great for Novices...https://www.miscel.dk/MiscEl/miscel.html

I cant run program, repeating message shows info box that program is to old.

I think after 4-5 ok presses, you would be able to run the program...sorry for that not to mention before
