[NEED HELP & THX A LOT]how to simulate Photo-diode in Cadence Virtuoso

Hello, I am a beginner in the field of CMOS Image Sensor ( CIS ). I am trying to simulate the CIS in Cadence Virtuoso. The problem I meet with, is that I don't know how to simulate Photo-diode in Cadence Virtuoso. You know in APS structure, we need light and luminance into diode, and then we get the current or voltage. In simulation, the light comes from images, but how to IMPLEMENT this in Cadence Virtuoso? Is that related to technology library? Or can it be done with TCAD? Have been stuck in this for a long time, begging for someone for help. Thanks a lot.
