guies, i am final year engineering student and i am planning to build a pc based mobile robot for navigation..

If you can program and make a program for MCU then you do not hawe a problem.You need a 2 servos 360' or GM9 redutors from solarbotics,linksys WRT54 Wi-Fi router,becose with linux you hawe a 232 prptocol in it/can comunuicate with MCU simple /
IP camera to see on PC and motor driver-ex. L293D

Hi..u can try implementint USART in AVR micros like Atmega aeries and jus buy buy 433MHZ or315 MZ transmitter reciever pair and u can use Terminal software to send commands via aerial protocol....
