Can any one tell Purpose of Normalization In DSP .....

Thanks & Regards,
kasinatha

normalization is crucial in fixed point dsp algorithms.

Hi,
Normalization is very important in fixed point dsp algorithm development specially in complex arithmetic operations where input signal data type is fixed as such signed short, unsigned short.
During fixed point implementation there is always truncation noise, to reduce the effect of this noise and to make smooth signal levels normalization is used.

No I think you are asking about normalisation of Fs/2 to 1 in freq domain isn't it?

can u say some more regarding your question pls?
