need help for square wave osci

i would like to design 1Khz square wave oscialltor usin OPAMP.which should be havin max drift of 100Hz.
Can anyone help me

Hi,
100Hz in 1KHz is 10% and as long as you use fairly decent components RC phase shift oscillator may be constructed without any major drift.

This is a very popular cheap Opamp and you will find some kind of application notes in its datasheet for example a square wave oscillator.

:wink: use a standard 555 timer ic to generate the required 1000 Hz
timer 555 has a frequency stability of better than .1 %
the timing resistors should be MFR and the timing capacitor should be polyester( dont use ceramic capacitors with class two dielectric)

That's easy, you can even use an logic inverter in making one. 8)

Actually 10% drift is not challenging requirements .
All you have to worry about is quality of capasitor and resistor in RC circuit , power supply stability
opamp general characteristics .

Simply :
Use schmidth trigger Opamp based circuit,
Additionally connect inverting input with output through resistor.Put capasitor between inverting input and ground .These elements will define oscillator frequency .

Schmidth resistors parameters will define hysteresis voltage (affects also frequency as well)
