i just want interconnect design (switching box)

hi
thanks
i m asking about hardware part of it.??????/
and
for software should i go for VHDL or Verilog?

mmm...it's all hardware already :D
VHDL and Verilog are both HDL = Hardware Description Languages...

Anyways, it's so easy to implement...you have to choose one of the languages now as a start. If you're familiar with C, go for verilog (it's easier). VHDL is more like ADA language...I prefer it and I learned it first, although it's a bit harder than Verilog. It wouldn't really matter which one you choose cause your design is very very simple. You wouldn't have to go deep in the language at all. For simulation, go for Modelsim. But which FPGA kit will you use?

hey how to write in and read from SRAM? can nebody send me program code?
