Need code for finding square root using cordic algorithm

CAN ANYONE GIVE ME THE CODE FOR FINDING SQUARE ROOT USING CORDIC ALGORITHM....(PREFERABLY IN VERILOG)??

thnx i found one.......but the package has nly polar to rectangular conv and sine & cosine functions...no sq_root !!

I guess, Cordic isn't the most effective way to calculate a square root, but it seems possible anyway.

Go for babylonian method of finding square root. Its quite easy to program in VHDL also.
