Need a PRBS coding for 2*31-1

Hi guys,

Can anybody provide me the PRBS coding for 2<power>31-1 for my optical NRZ signal generation in Cadence.

you can use ahdl.lib in which some fuction is there which generate random signal depends on the seed value given....
for exact function name i'll get back to you.

so, your meaning is there is a functional block in cadence that can provide PRBS signaling??

try with rand_bit_stream in ahdl.lib of cadence.
