[SOLVED] Need a compiler for AT89S52

Hi to all
I have a uC programmer of iNSET which is based on ISP. and USB
I had googled , go through software and find that my uC only need a .hex file
and I also find out some free compiler winAVR and winARM but they doesn't supports AT89s52 but supports ATs90
and keil wants filling up the * entries

please give me a link of c compiler for my s52
which is free of cost?
I use linux , windows both

cab I take risk of using AT90 hex code or it will damage my uC
please help.

hi,

I dont know much about atmel family...but i think you can use mikroC pro for 8051 ...according to my knowledge hex code will not make any damages to uC ...

you can use uvision keil or microC from microelektronika
microC is best

use keil evaluation version it is enough for beginners
