What for? If you never worked with BIOS updates than its better don't try it.

Traditional procedure is to look on the manufacturer website for both the firmware images AND the bios update tools...

What happen with your BIOS? Did you try to mod your laptop BIOS?

Usually Modern BIOS update comes with firmware image and BIOS update tool integrated in one file. /by using special software tools you can extract image file/ but normal user has no reason to extract bin file ....

For a sufficiently adjusted version of "usually" I 100% agree. It really depends on the vendor. Some supply a .exe file with the firmware image integrated, some supply a seperate flash utily with seperate firmware .bin files.

I just checked that BIOS update ... 10/ F.08A to F.37/ firmwares are available on manufacturer website ... It is Insyde BIOS. I noticed a lot of laptop manufactures switched to Insyde BIOS.
Its Chine based company.
