Hi folks
I realise that this forum is probably all about solutions involving DSP boards, but I would like to develop a simple narrow band audio filter to run on a standard PC with no specific dsp processor. The input would be an audio file. The task of this filter is simply tp produce a peak output when a short term note (a church bell for example) occurs, so distortion etc is of no importance. Am I asking the impossible? If not, I would appreciate some guidance as to how this can be implemented in code.
Many thanks
