Must i select electrical or electronics and communication

I study Electrical and Electronics engineering and i am second class.we will be two department that names are electrical-electronics and communication in third class.Can you advise me what i will select?

Hai i am doing electronics and comm final yr. i will tell u the importance of ece, then u decide urself

1. we have four main field to work on namely (1)embedded (2) core electronics (3) digital, image processing [signal processing] (4) telecommunication

2. Subjects are really fun and interesting to learn

3. If u like to innovate things there is lot of oppourtunities in this field

hi i am a electronics and telecommunication major

i think u should go for E&C cause then u have a greater spectrum of industries to work in namely IT,Telecom,electronics .
Basically you'll have more options after u graduate

Hi!
I'm studying Electronics and Communication Eng. and we had to choose one of two areas in the 4th class.I decided on the Electronics field because it gives you much more about hardware knowledge and you can also design communication circuits ,you're not restricted in the world of electronics!!

However , it's a matter of personal taste in a way , take this into consideration!

I'm from the Electronics field. As Indian pointed out, it is infact a wonderful field. Not that you cannot innovate in Electricals but Electronics makes it much wider. The Embedded and DSP/Image Processing are one of the hottest fields around. You will have a lot of options once you graduate. If you've taken Electronics, you can still learn Electricals but be careful, concentrate on your field before going into other fields. All the Best.
