display 7seg pic 18f

I'm trying to make a pulse counter(part of a project), due to some fix conditions i have to multiplex the 5-digit 7-segment display. I'm counting the external pulses (upto 100Hz) on external interrupt INT0. For multiplexing i'm calling the display routine from Timer interrupt. Till there is no pulse or frequency of signal is very very low the display works ok but as the frequency raises the Display Starts to FLICKER tremendously. I tried changing lots of timng but none is working....Please guide me for proper method.

Thanks.

With best regards,
Garg
