Multiple Frequency Bell

I want to develop a Multiple frequency doorbell.I want to make it to solve the problem for multiple receiver's in single house each for one floor. what can be the circuit for it and the modification to the same so that one transmitter rings one bell and the second transmitter rings the second receiver bell only not first one.

You can use a DTMF encoder/decoder. Search the net for schematics and chipsets available.

There is another simple solution (without DTMF) where you can use tone decoders as: BA1604 or LM/NE/SE567

why yo need multiple bells? use single bell controller with desired freq based on floor number. think of it.

Just in case this helps...

There are wireless doorbells. The pushbutton (transmitter) is powered by a battery. You stick it on the doorframe.

The chime (receiver) is plugged into house current.

They operate as a pair. Each pair has a unique code (supposedly). Transmitting distance is up to 50 feet or so.

Even if you prefer to make your own, the storebought model might be useful for comparison.

I've used this type or one just like it. $14.09 at Amazon.

Don't know how well the signal will transmit through a floor or two.

Look over the reviews to see what people thought of it. As to how well it penetrates through walls, etc.

There are also models that contain two receivers and one sender.
