Hello

^^
I want to know about multi-standard LNA for commercial product.

In previous design, multi-standard LNA was designed by many LNAs.

If one LNA can cover whole frequency band specifications, it can use for the product or not? Why in the commercial product, many LNA used instead of one LNA? Is it simply for better performance or any other reasons?

Except basic specifications (S-para, NF, IIP3…), is there anything should consider for multi-standard LNA?

Is there any reference ?

Thanks in advance.

Generally wideband LNA’s cannot meet all the specifications in the same time, in terms of NF, IP3, Gain and Return Loss.
But for the same band let’s say GSM1900 and WCDMA Band-2, you can use the same LNA for both, if the LNA meets all the performances simultaneous, which is not very hard.
