The small utility for programming MSP430 via MSP430-JTAG Adapter ( www.olimex.com ), without IAR IDE. It's not use BSL feature, only using MSP430.DLL and HIL.DLL (all JTAG function implementation by TI). Programm is small (8kB), have MRU list, support Drag'n'Drop, and simply to use. That's all.
Just tryed to make my own MSP-Bootloader, hardware based on TIs AppNotes SLAA096B and SLAA089A. Tested with the small 430F11x1-
Devices, works well, so far.
(Because of a little bug when saving its Configuration-File, MSPflash has to run in a subdirectory, not in the root)
Documentation and Layout added in file documentation.zip
I managed to program a MSP430F149 using a very simple schematic with two TS3232 level shifters and pybsl http://mspgcc.sourceforge.net on the PC side. The only drawback is that the CPU is not powered by the serial interface in this case (not really a drawback in my case). Just attach the level shifters to the programming pins (there are two appnotes on TI's site talking about the programming protocol and signals) and you're all set.
I'm looking for a simple programmer for msp430. Where can i find the 'simple schematic with two TS3232 level shifters' you 're mentioning above? Thank you for helping me. Can it be used and for MSP430FG439 or MSP430F427

I'm afraid you can't find it anywhere. I made it myself and I never bothered to write down the schematic. Furthermore, I disassembled the prototype board and I have no reference to the schematic whatsoever I remember that it should be pretty easy to build though. Just look at the manuals a bit.
Hi. Does someone have Olimex programmer PCB . If someone has it please upload it. If someone has original Olimex programmer plese make PCB photo.
Thanks in advance .
