Hello everyone, I am a 3rd year EXTC student, I have interest in Vlsi field.
I have realised that after completing btech, a student doesnt have enough knowledge to get into a vlsi or ip core company, also freshers dont have much scope in industry, is it true?
And if I think of doing PG, what are the pros and cons of doing it in US or India, can anyone please elaborate?
Thank you :)

is it true?
Unfortunately, it's very true.
Fresh graduates rarely have the required "hands on" skills to be productive from their first day on the job.

If you're interested in front end VLSI I suggest that you familiarize yourself with Verilog and verification tools and do a few projects on an FPGA. This will at least give you some sort of hands on experience.
