Hello! I have at home a Testla NC430 phono, belt drive @220V. The tone arm is S shape from aluminium. I would like to buy a Kenwood KD 44R phono, direct drive. The tone arm is classic - in line - but from carbon.

Which tone arm is better? Aluminium or carbon? What advantages and disadvantages has each other?

Also which one is better? I knew that S shape tone arms are better.
The budget for such a phono (+/-delivery) is up to $100 /75EUR.

Thanks!
