Re: what is duty cycle of a signal

The duty cycle is simply the ON time divided by the time of one period of the signal. Thus a 50% duty cycle signal is ON 50% of the time. It typically refers to pulse or square-wave type signals.

Re: what is duty cycle of a signal

I would say, measurement is just simply based on percentage

Re: what is duty cycle of a signal

then it means duty cycle is the percent of time that an entity spends in an active state as a fraction of the total time we are taking under consideration. Is this correct.if not kindly help me in understanding in this.
