Hey all, i'm new on this forum and i found it when i was looking for help about my project.
I have been assigned to build a Range finder using a SRF05 and displaying the results on a LCD screen.
After a few problems i finally managed to build the circuit and i used an 18x2 LCD for the display.

Unfortunately the program i tried didn't work and i'm all out of ideas. I'm uploading the circuit i did for the project (sorry about the crappy design i made it on paint). I would appreciate some help about the program or if i did something wrong on the circuit.

And?
Is it functioning yet?

Added after 9 minutes:

I think, the LCD poti must be after the "depolarizations protection" diode to(o input of voltage regulator...

well the lcd lights up but the cursor doesn't show up. i think it's probably the PIC program i used.
