Hello don't ask to send mail this is a great open forum.all doubts and answer only through the forum .else moderator may warn you.

this circuit is from old efy, and works fine , you can use Sl100 in place of Q1 and Q2

Hello,
Before placing loadfuse check the CD4047 output for pulsed DC, may be faulty IC leads to saturate output transistors resulting in short circuit. check the pot for sufficient time base it may also lead to draw more current.
