My donkey water supply pump when i start it to run it stuck and don't run as i rotate the (part on which belts are seated and is connected to the shaft i.e. rotor and to the piston) by hand then it starts to rotate (run) but is making strange sounds while running as if there's some mechanical issue whether in the piston or bearings (if any of the bearings are there inside it , i don't know about the bearings inside it).
To understand the term donkey water supply pump , i'm attaching its images
Re: My donkey water supply pump is producing strange noise (sounds) while running
Hello munzir,
to say, where you find greasing points its hard to say with only one picture. Also the homepage of DIAMOND Pumps I can not reach in moment. Try to get a service manual from DIAMOND or from the service point in your country.
But look for bearings, where the piston is hold. Put grease on the piston and near the bearings. Move the piston to get the grease into the bearing.
If you are good in mechanics, you can open the pump housing and look for dry places of moving parts. There you put oil or grease to make it light moving.
How to adjust the both the belts on the pulley of the pump ?
Its not a centrifugal pump , its a reciprocating pump
having a small cam shaft having 2 bearings and the connecting rod (converting the rotational motion of cam shaft into the linear to and fro motion of the piston or connecting rod)
the winding case is getting too hot even if it runs an hour or some more time than an hour
