Is there any circuit topology on amplifying a DC voltage?

Switched capacitor voltage multiplier is a commonly used method to generate e.g. programming voltage higher than Vdd in non-volatile memory ICs.

Hi,

Just to be sure:
You speak about power supply? (Here the phrase "boost" is usual)
Or do you speak about a signal? (Here the phrase "amplifying" is usual).

In any case you should give:
* input voltage range
* output voltage (range), or gain
* output current

To get a clue what you are talking about.

Klaus

I'm talking about the signal, DC amplifier. I have a 1.2-1.3V supply and want to amplify it to 2V. Do you have any topology ideas?

Hi,

For amplifying a signal use an OPAMP.
...But then again you talk about a power supply...

It seems you don't know what you want.
