Embest Technology has officially （a Premier Farnell company） launched RIoTboard development platform on Feb. 6th, 2014. RIoTboard is an open-source development platform integrating a Freescale 1GHz high-performance low-power i.MX6 Solo processor. RIoTboard features a rich set of interfaces such as a 10/100Gb Ethernet interface, HDMI v1.4, LVDS, analog headphone/microphone interfaces, uSD and SD card interfaces, USB, serial port, JTAG, camera interface, GPIO boot configuration interface, and expansion port.
RIoTboard is ideal for Android and Linux development. With the powerful processor and a variety of interfaces on the board, RIoTboard is suited for a wide range of fields including tablets, smart home appliances, medical monitoring and telehealth, factory automation and HMI, digital signage, point of sale equipment, IP phones, scanners and Smart metering.
