Hi,

I have a question.

Suppose we have a signal x, length (samples) N=400 which have been sampled with Fs=8000Hz. Also suppose x(k) the dft transport of this singal.

How many zeros we must add at the end of x in order to change the freq. resolution of dft to 1Hz.

My question: Is 7600 zeros the right answer ? because ΔF = Fs/N so 1Hz = 8000/(x+400), x=7600

Thanks, I appreciate
