Dear sir,
We using L&T make 4 wire KWH meter for our 110KW Induction motor & this meter is externally CT operated (250/5). we had done trial to check batch wise unit consumed by motor. We checked 3 Phase voltage found 422V phase to phase, maintained motor current 175A to 182A. Meter starting reading 22106.8 after one hour trial ends at 22108.4. as per CT ratio multiplication factor is 50.
THEN TOTAL UNITS CONSUMED BY MOTOR IS
22108.4-22106.8=1.6
UNITS CONSUMED = 1.6*50=80UNITS.[/B]

If we measure by theoretically using formula is
Unit = (1.732*V*I*0.84)/1000
Units= (1.732*422*179*0.84)/1000
= 109.89Units[/B]

So our energy meter shows 80 Units & formula shows 109.8 Units. Please guide me where i am doing mistake.
