Hello,

I am working on designing a poly-phase energy meter using the IC from Analog Dev ADE7880.

I've already chosen the Current Sensor which is the VAC T60404-N4644-X056. I have read that this CT is one of the best in the market.

But my doubt is about voltage sensing. This is my first time designing an electronic application. I am electrical engineer specialized in Power Systems.

What is the most professional way to achieve the voltage sensing? Voltage Transformers? Voltage Dividers? Are there commercial solutions already done that I can use?

I really appreciate your help.

Hi,

Usually you find such information in the datasheet.

On www.analog.com go to the ade7880 page. You will find application notes and evaluation board documentation.
