Hi all,

Can you recomend me a MOSFET gate driver IC for me from Texas Instruments. This is for a H bridge to control a DC motor. I am using IRF530.

Regards

What type of DC motor?

Thank you shaiko for replying !!!!!

This is for a motor controller. So the supply voltage for the DC motor can change (using a variable power supply). I'm thinking of a range of 12V to 40V(MAX), max current is 4A.

What TYPE of DC motor is it?
Brushed/Brushless/Switched Reluctance...?

Ahhh... sorry i didn't understand the question before. It will be a brushed motor.

Select MOSFET driver with average current greater than (sw. Freq. * Qg) of MOSFET....and which will provide peak gate current to the MOSFET..
Where as IRF530 Qg is not too high....you have plenty of options...
Best of Luck....
