Hello, I am planning to make an H bridge for an inverter, and i have these IGBT drivers, can i use them to drive mosfets? My frequency is 15KhZ - 66uS period.

https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infin...N.pdf?fileId=db3a30433e30e4bf013e3c649ffd6c8b

In the data sheet it says that min on/off time is 0.8nS for the type i have.(2EDL05I06PF) The only difference i saw, was for the dead time. Which for my version is 380nS.

Do you think it will work with mosfets ?

(Yes i am within voltage range etc)

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Do you think it will work with mosfets ?
Nobody knows what MOSFET you are talking about.
--> you need to read both datasheets and compare the values.
But generally I´d rather use a driver that is suited for MOSFETs. (I assume there is a good reason why they build different drivers for MOSFETs and IGBTs)

You have a problem with the units:
"15KhZ" --> 15kHz (all uppercase and lowercase reversed)
"66uS" --> 66us (66uS means 66 microSiemens which is the same as 15151Ohms)
"0.8nS" --> 0.8us = 800ns
Try to use the correct units to avoid confusions.
