Dear all,

i am looking for to drive a mosfets through a controller.

as my controller is not able to give 600 ma current..

are there any control logic between controller & mosfet gate by using ics (cost effective)..??

pls post some of the schematics or give idea which stucks in your brains..

Mosfet drive circuit for microcontrollers

:arrow::arrow:
You must use a gate driving circuit with isolation ( M75Py.pngfor high power application) , The purpose of it is that it will provide sufficient power to the MOSFET's gate to turn ON/OFF.

What is the VDS of the MOSFET you are using? Check this MIC5018, which will operate in 3.3V input & can drive MOSFET with 12V Vds maximum. Hope this solve your problem.

@deepakchikane, What is wrong with Irfan's first proposal and why is it outdated?

Clarify the problem further. Is the ground of the MOSFET isolated or non-isolated. If it is non isolated then...
1. Use a drive BJT to amplify 5mA from the MCU to about 50mA.
2. Then use this 50mA to drive the input of a totem-pole.
3. Finally drive the MOSFET from the output of the totem-pole

This method is fast, total delay of all stages combined should be less than 30ns
Its is also cost-effective. The driver circuitry should cost less than Rs.20/- (0.3$) @100 units.
