inductor-based boost converter
I would like to know if somebody has tried to change the diode of a inductor based DC/DC boost converter to a MOSFET working as diode. I have tried it but a lot of SOAC appear in the simulation using 0.35 AMS technology (h35b4, 50V tech). If it should not work, could explain why?
The design has to increase voltage from 3V to 50V. There are 50V mosfets (Vds) in the technology.
This is my first design with DC/DC's and may be I am doing things wrong.
