modifying ipaq cf sleeve (jacket) ?

Hello,

I need to modify ipaq cf sleeve to add some add-on hardware such as barcode reader but cf interface should still accessible by cf cards. I just need simple communication with 1-2 i/o, Does anyone have any experience something similar ? Thank you for advice.

hi,i have ever done somethings like this.it is a little difficult.you should be very carefull,i made a mistake and something is broken.my PDA is not ipak,but i think all you need is more carefull.
