What exactly were you doing to get this error message ? Did ModelSim Crash ?

Try this.

1. Go to start > Settings > Control Panel
2. Double-click on "Users and Passwords"
3. Select the user and click on "Properties" tab
4. Click on "Other" and select "Power User"

This should fix the problem

Hope it helps

I use administrator account, still crash.

Thanks

what were you doing exactly...? what does your design do?
try to disable optimizations...
do you store certain results..?

Hi members,
@bibleman
This kind of errors occurs (pointers and stacks eroors...) with cracked Modelsims (bad cracks).

R U using a commercial version ? If it is so contact Mentor for support since it is error of execution.

The design is just a counter. it is simple.

Master_Picengineer
you are right

Thanks both

Hi,

I was using a licensed version and it also crashed lots of times...to avoid all of this, I had to use an older version which didn't have all the recent optimizations of the newer version (which exited upon storage of generated results...!!!)

...

aha..so it's cracked

why dont you give a try With Expert edition of ALDEC probably u will get some solution
not remembering exactly but same kind of error was solved in that ....

hi,brother,
suggest you that you should reinstall the modelsim.

regards.
