ModelSim 6.4aPE error in startup script

Whenever i run modelsim i get an error reporting as below and i can't proceed.

Error in startup script.

expected integer but got "797n 10ns"
while executing
"after $FileWatch(updateRate)FileEventHandler"
(procedure "watch_file" line 20)
invoked from within
"watch_file$stdout_file"
invoked from within
"ncFyP12"
(file "D:\Program Files\modeltech_pe_6.4a\win32pe/../tcl/vsim/vsim" line 1)

I have reinstalled the product, but this did not solve the problem. even i deleted in regedit the model technology folder after reinstalling and then installed the product but then also it is not solving..

Please, help me!:cry:
