Hi,

I am trying to simulate TEM waves in a coaxial waveguide using the MoM. But I don't know how to model the exciatation, or even how the excitation is done in reality. Does any body have an idea about that? or how it is modelled in other numerical techniques.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I now know the answer so here is it.

The exciation modeling would be using a dipole with volatage excitation connecting both conductors, and a deembeding lenght according to the operating frequency.
