[Modbus To Serial] convert to RS-485

I've run into a bit of a problem and I am hoping this community could help me out:

I currently have communication that has a MODBUS to Serial connection. My goal is to make this into a MODBUS TO RS-485 connection. are there any possibilities for this?

Preferably, the MODBUS controller would also control the transmit enable signal of the RS-485 transceiver, but if it's not feasible, the circuits can help.
