mimo channels implementation.........plotting ber snr plot

We are implementing miso-ofdm system 2transmit 1 receive
we hve the expression y=H.X+N
our doubt
1. how do i compute the ber snr plot as this expression does not hve any snr term
2. the noise - should it be normalised or somethin

Added after 1 hours 15 minutes:

i understand the snr thing in awgn channel...............but what about the rayleigh and rician channels.........................how is the signal power affected? the noisepower in these channels is that of the additive white gaussian only right ?...................correct if wrong

Firstly you need to specify the SNR you need to calculate. and then find corresponding values of sigma square. Then define the channel model (rayleigh or rician). After that define the transmitted signal ( BPSK, qpsk e.t.c) and then do the MONTE CARLO ANALYSIS. HOPE THAT IT HELPS
