i totally new learner for micro controller programming. anybody here willing to guide me to my project automated meter reading using rf? i need proper guidelines from someone. pls anybody here willing to share knowledge?

Try and specify what you want to design in detail. Then only you can get the resources.
I have seen a project that was designed to read the meter reading and disply it at a far end using ZigBees. It was named Wireless Multimeter using ZigBee. It didnt make any sense though.
