The NATO C band

The NATO C band is that portion of the electromagnetic spectrum between 500 MHz and 1000 MHz.
In this range of freqs microstrip structure becomes large and you can't design high-Q filters and it's better to use cavity filters however I desing a sharp 50 MHz BW on Fc 405 MHz with hairpin topology and It was fairly good filter.
IEEE C band

The IEEE C band is a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum in the microwave range of frequencies ranging from 4 to 8 GHz.
In this band you can esily design excellent filters with microstrip structure
